VRP SHOCKS
Whoever says a shock is just a shock - doesn't have VRP shocks on their car! From Quarter Midgets to Sprint cars alike there is VRP Shock equipped cars in the top positions. Just watch a VRP shocked car over the big bumps on a dirt track, you can SEE the difference. Put a set on your car and your driver will FEEL the difference.
The shocks produced by VRP are an active shock without the external user adjustable pressure valve. This provides a consistent shock without the extra worry of making sure the pressure is set right or worries of the valve being broken off the shock in a crash. Shafts are made of a very high strength material, which endures many of the hazards of quarter midget racing. Split valve technology provides a truly tunable shock which can be used to very effectively change the speed at which the chassis will transfer weight.
Shocks are 11" long in full extension. Shocks are threaded body and come with the coil adjuster collar and the slotted lower spring retainer (no need to remove the rod end for spring changes). Length can be slightly changed by altering the lower rod end to accommodate most chassis. Short body shocks are also available. Completely re-buildable and re-valveable in both compression and rebound. Each shock is Dyno tested at VRP after assembly to insure it performs as it is supposed to within a tight tolerance.
